• History Bio

  This version of Jonathan lives in the fantastical medieval age of advanced sciences, such as alchemy being a common (or heard of) practice. Jonathan was just starting out his alchemist studies at a somewhat young age of 16, leaving his only living relative behind, his grandfather who used to be a renowned and feared swordsman. He hopes to make his mark into the world, and becoming an alchemist was the very first step on getting into such an amazing journey full of fun, excitement, and friendship.
  
  Jonathan's first school was called Al-Revis Academy, one of an interesting mixture of humans, beastman, and special magical beings called Manas who acts as assistants to some classmates...those who are very lucky enough to form a mutual pact... During the school year, Jonathan did make a few, but very special, friends; everyone having their own dreams and goals once they succeeded. One thing that all Jonathan's friends had that he didn't is that eventually everyone had a Mana partner that invoked a mutual pact with each other...leaving Jonathan the only one without a Mana partner... Feeling a bit left out, but not discouraged, eventually Jonathan was able to get a Mana partner of his very own...and it was a very special and a surprising encounter... One day Jonathan journeys out into a large forest patch, famous for finding lots of rare materials used for alchemy studies and experimentation. He hopes to gather some ingredients for not only some of his school homework assignments, but also to freely experiment to make some special...unbeknownst that while he gathered everything that he needed, and was about to head on back to the academy, Jonathan heard a feminine scream... Hearing that someone was in trouble, Jonathan didn't hesitate to head where the scream was coming from, and found a beautiful woman being hunted by monsters...little did Jonathan knew that the woman was actually a Mana, but a special kind of Mana being called a Mana Princess from a kingdom in the Mana World, a world that lives parallel to the human world... Jonathan didn't waste any time to intercept the monsters and fight them off...but there was far too many of them for him safety protect the Mana behind him... Thankfully Jonathan came prepared as he used a special smoke bomb that he created from his alchemy experiments to blind the monsters, and allowing him to take the Mana away quickly getting out of the forest. The Mana Princess was very thankful of Jonathan's rescue as he was about to go his separate ways...only for her to stop and begged him to become her bodyguard, worried about other many dangers that may befall her... Jonathan did refuse at first, deciding to only help her find someone else to be her bodyguard, but eventually she revealed everything to him...her race being a Mana from the Mana World; Her royal heritage of being a Mana Princess; She being a Pure Mana that controls water, ice, and light magic; and eventually why she came to the Human World, becoming a runaway Mana Princess... Jonathan was both shocked and surprised at what the Mana Princess has told him, not believing her tales...at first...but eventually he decided to become her guardian. The Mana Princess' name was Aurora, and it was a start of a duo partnership that would eventually be famous many lands all over...
  
  With Aurora in tow, Jonathan returned to the academy to introduce her to his friends...but kept her royal origins and specific typing a secret at Aurora's request, wanting only Jonathan to know that she's a Mana Princess that controls the elements of purity... With Jonathan finally now having a Mana partner to call his own, the two of them enjoy the school life even more than ever before now. Eventually, as the school year went by, Aurora has given Jonathan a powerful blessing of summoning out a special kind of magic armor that allowed him to tap into magical powers that he has never learned before by using vast amount of Aurora's magical power of water, ice, and light. In addition he can also use those magical powers in conjunction to learn a lot of powerful and impressive techniques along with his above-average swordsmanship.
  
  Eventually the school year comes to an end, and Jonathan manages to graduate with relatively high honors...but still believes that he still has a lot to learn... And so he decides to journey off into another school while also doing his job as a Traveling Alchemist, now that he has both a license and profession to be called one, along with Aurora traveling by his side, continuing to enjoy every moment when being with him.

  Authors Note: As you can both see and read through the entire bio (Or most of it if you found one very specific word), I have a personal strong attachment to the Atelier Series of videogames, specifically both Mana Khemia series of videogames (Though the bio is more leaning on the first, but I do love the second more). As such, if I ever am going to use this version of Jonathan in any RP, I hope to find possible RP stories that has some (If not all) elements of Mana Khemia into it. It doesn't have to be exact as there are some, if more, exceptions that I'm willing to work around with new scenarios and ideas...but at least I do now want to make this version of Jonathan known to other potential RP partners to see if they're interested...
